Plastic Battery Cover MiniMag Series
170-036 Plastic Battery Cover is a simple sheet of plastic that covers the tops of the batteries, offering a 2nd layer of protection for the battery posts. This walk behind scrubber comes standard with individual rubber booties for each battery post, but some customers prefer a supplemental sheet that covers the entire battery, cell caps and all.
Single Point Watering System 115ah Battery Pack (2) 12V
170-038 Single Point Water System for (Qty 2) 12v/115ah batteries allows easy battery watering, by connecting all of the battery cells via special caps. These caps connect to a single tube for watering of the scrubber?s batteries, and help to equalize the electrolyte levels.
Chemical Free, Oscillating, Strip and Scrub System
170-141 Chemical Free, Oscillating, Strip/Scrub Disk System uses the oscillation of the brush driver, special sanding pads, enhanced scrub motor hp, rpm and pressure to allow the floor scrubber to clean floors or strip wax without using harsh chemicals. The option includes a ?mode? switch allowing the operator to switch back to traditional settings, making it uniquely able to move from strip mode, back to scrub mode.
ECON - Energy Saver Switch
170-290 ECON- Energy Saver Switch allows the scrubber operator to choose between standard performance range (maximum) or ?reduced? performance range and thus conserve energy and extend the runtime. Intended to be one of many environmentally conservative measures we?re taking to reduce energy use.
Spray Jet
170-127 Spray Jet option equips the scrubber with a heavy duty hose 4? - 10? and spray nozzle. This allows the operator to use the scrubber?s clean solution under pressure (3.0 gpm / 45 psi) to flush out the recovery tank when draining the tank when fresh water source is not within reach. Operator can also cleanout the scrub deck/hopper, pre-spray a large floor area for better detergent dwell time, cleaning under racks, around equipment, into restrooms and more.
Vacuum Wand
170-129 Vacuum Wand extends the reach of the scrubber?s vacuum system. The option includes a steel wand and vacuum shoe, and a 12? flexible hose to connect to the recovery tank. It permits the operator to recover spills under racking, behind cabinets or cleaning restroom floors.
Spray Jet /Vac Wand Combo
170-131 Spray Jet / Vac Wand Combo equip the scrubber with both of the previously described options.
On Board Soap System ( SUDS )
170-138 On-Board Soap System (SUDS). This Super-concentrated Universal Dispensing System automatically and precisely meters the soap into the solution stream, thus avoiding spills, misuse of chemicals, unauthorized dilution adjustments, etc. By blending the scrubber soap at the end of the solution stream, only fresh water is used to fill the tank, or run through the solution system?s filter and solenoid valve, reducing potential clogs with these items. The SUDS jugs include cap inserts with valves to protect operators from exposure, a big safety feature of traditional drums and pales of soap. The system allows the operator to run with it OFF, Normal or Double Dose. The option includes a case of (6) ? gallon jugs of PowerCat detergent to get the customer started.
Power Dose Holder
170-142 Power Dose Holder is a small tray on the scrubber, which accommodates our 1 Quart bottles of Pre-treat and the Rental/Demo bottles. The Pre-Treat does an excellent job of removing tire marks and recovering heavy soil areas. The Rental/Demo quarts contain the concentrated SUDS product in a manually portioned manner, with only 4 to 8 oz required before filling up the tank. Eliminating the need to use larger jugs or pales to pour (spill) detergent into the scrubber?s solution tank.
Jaws for 20" MINIMAG
170-144 Jaws for 20? MiniMag allow a customer with a heavy duty application to replace the standard shrouds with protective jaws for the scrub deck. These steel jaws mount directly to the frame, instead of the scrub deck, thus affording it protection from collisions into poles, pallets and other obstacles found in Industrial Applications.
Shrouds for MINIMAG 26" Disk
170-152 Shrouds for MiniMag 26? Disk is an option which swaps out the standard HD Jaws for the lower hanging shrouds, which clean better under overhangs. Still constructed of thick steel and incorporating non-marking wall rollers, these shrouds are popular in grocery stores and other ?commercial? or retail applications. They mount directly to the scrub deck and remove easily for access to the scrub brushes or pads.
Tires - Foam Filled Black * 90 Day Limited Warranty
170-172 Tires ? Foam Filled black tires are the standard pneumatic (air filled) tires, but injected with a liquid material which sets up into a foam form. This allows customers to maintain the good traction characteristics of a soft air tire, but without the potential flats from nail punctures. WARNING: Foam filled tires can develop flat spots if left idle for weeks at a time (shipment), and can damage the rims over time. Therefore, they come with a limited warranty.
Tires - Foam Filled Grey * 90 Day Limited Warranty
170-174 Tires ? Foam Filled Grey tires are the standard pneumatic (air filled) tires, but injected with a liquid material which sets up into a foam form. This allows customers to maintain the good traction characteristics of a soft air tire, but without the potential flats from nail punctures. WARNING: Foam filled tires can develop flat spots if left idle for weeks at a time (shipment), and can damage the rims over time. Therefore, they come with a limited warranty.
Tires - Pneumatic Grey * 90 Day Limited Warranty
170-177 Tires ? Pneumatic (air filled) tires.
Tires - Soft Grey Casters
170-182 Tires ? Soft Grey Casters are non-marking ?cushion? style wheels, often found on scrubbers used on ceramic tiles. They replace the standard polyurethane caster wheels, which are also non-marking but made with a harder material. The soft material rides more quietly and smoothly across rough surfaces and puts lower load on sensitive tile edges. The softer material does increase the effort required to steer by perhaps 15%, and are more susceptible to harsh chemicals and stripper.
Tires - Solid Drive
170-184 Tires ? Solid Drive are used to replace the scrubber?s standard pneumatic tires, eliminating any potential for flats, while avoiding the problems that are inherit with ?foam filling?. Extra caution should be taken to avoid sitting idle in cold applications, which will cause flat spots. These tires are made with a special rubber material to offer good traction on a wet floor surface.
Parking Brake - Manual
170-202 Parking Brake is a manually engaged ?over-center? lever, allowing the automatic floor scrubber?s operator to lock the left drive tire in place. We still recommend that owners avoid parking the scrubber on ramps or inclines.
Managers Lock Out - Brush Pressure (Traction Drive Only)
170-305 Managers? Lock-Out Brush Pressure allows a Manager, with a private key, to lock out the floor scrubber?s Scrub pressure adjustment. Our scrubbers offer 5 down pressure settings, and should only be used on maximum settings for floors with heavy soil build up or stripping floor finish. To avoid unnecessary wear on brushes or brushes, this lockout can be employed to maintain Managements? preferred settings.
Managers Lock Out - Solution Control (Traction Drive Only)
170-310Manager?s Lock-Out Solution Control permits a Manager, with a private key, to lock out the battery scrubber?s Solution Flow adjustment. Our floor scrubbers offer 6 settings for solution flow (Off, 0.2 gpm, 0.4 gpm, 0.6 gpm, 0.8 gpm, 1.0 gpm), with Heavy flow only needed for thick soil, dusty applications or times when cleaning at a higher transport speed. To limit the waste of water, the solution setting can be locked.
Key Switch, Main Power (Mini Brush Assist Only)
170-295 Key Switch Main Power (Brush Assist Only) replaces the standard ?rocker? switch on the control panel with a Key Switch. This offers better control over when (and who) the floor scrubber is used, eliminating unauthorized operators.
Emergency Stop Switch E-STOP
170-285E-STOP is a RED kill switch on the dash board, that when depressed cuts off the key switch circuit, disabling all systems on the scrubber. It is intended for use during a panic, when the operator may struggle to locate or operate the key switch.
MiniMag Chassis Hour Meter (Traction Drive Only)
170-270 MiniMag Chassis Hour Meter has a battery backup, and is independent of the standard gauge on the scrubber. It is designed as a fail-safe for tracking hours. The traction units LCD has 4 hour meters (key, transport, scrub, vacuum), but could potentially fail, and thus reset the meters to zero. Like a car?s odometer, the hour meter is the best indication of a scrubber?s use and age.
Recharge Counter
170-320Recharge Counter is a meter on our scrubbers that tracks the number of times the recharge plug has been engaged to the battery charge point. The quantity of recharge cycles, along with proper maintenance, determines the battery?s life expectancy. High quality lead acid batteries can be expected to offer 500 to 650 cycles before requiring replacement, so managing this value offers customers the ability to maximize their return on their battery investment and foresee battery replacement.
Auto Squeegee Lift
170-260 Auto Squeegee Lift is an electric (500 lb capacity) actuator, and replaces the squeegee lift cable. This system reduces the work required by the operator to raise/lower the scrubber?s squeegee, and automatically picks it up when the auto scrubber travels in reverse, protecting the squeegee blades from potential damage.
Toggle switch substitute for key switch
170-296 Toggle switch substitute for standard Key Switch is for customers who prefer the simplicity and reliability of a toggle switch. It eliminates the potential problems with lost keys, but also the ability for management to control usage.
Rental Package Central Command
170-330 This is a central command built with old fashioned (1990's) technology. A simple Curtis speed controller and all other systems running on switches, relays and circuit breakers. It's designed for use in markets that prefer reliability and ease of service over all of the automation we have with our standard system.
Two Button Handle bar - Pad assist battery scrubbers only
170-345 Two Button Handlebar is for Brush Assist Minis only, which comes standard with a brush engagement button on the right handlebar only for simplicity. Some accounts prefer their scrubber to have dual buttons so controls can be made from either the right or left hand grip.
Dash Mount Solution Shut Off Traction Only
170-352 Dash Mount Solution Shut-Off gives the scrubber operator the ability to shut off the solution flow with a single switch, instead of cycling down with the toggle +/-. It includes a 2nd valve on the scrub deck and so also reduces the potential for water leakage during storage.
Concrete Polishing (Disk Only)
Concrete Polishing Package is an option that equips our scrubber to also be useful when polishing concrete floors. Depending on the condition of the concrete, customers can use the scrubber to develop a high gloss finish, without wax or any other ?coatings?. The option includes:
Brass Brush Driver Cylindrical & Idler - UPGRADE

Metal Recovery Lid Upgrade
170-519 Metal Recovery Lid Upgrade replaces the standard ?smoked? plastic recovery tank visual inspection lid, with a powder painted steel cover. While being more durable, it eliminates the scrubber operators? ability to monitor foam in the recovery tank and potential ingestion by the vacuum motor.
Scrub Motor Upgrade 1.0 HP - 17", 20" and 23"
Scrub Motor Upgrade 1.0 hp (single disk / brush assist / traction). Some applications benefit from an increase in scrubbing power, rpm, down pressure or all of the above. These motors can generate and sustain 35% more power, allowing heavy soil, tire marks or stripping to be completed in less time.
Hand Guards
170-662 Hand Guards are powder painted steel wraps that cover the front of the operators? hand at the grip point on the scrubber. They protect the scrubber operators? hands in instances where they may steer into a wall or pole.
Stainless Steal Tank Baffle
170-560 Stainless Steel Tank Baffle is a 304 grade stainless sheet, and best suited for applications where the recovery tank is subjected to highly corrosive materials. It replaces the standard powder painted steel baffle.

Different squeegee length in lieu of standard (linatex)
Different squeegee in lieu of standard (linatex) allows the scrubber owner to go with a different squeegee than what is standard. While our standard squeegee size is designed to balance water control on turns and maneuverability through congested areas, some accounts prefer a substitute size to better meet their needs.
Squeegee Blade Change Linatex to Gum Rubber
Different squeegee blade material change Linatex to Gum permits the scrubber owner to go with another squeegee blade material other than our standard Linatex, which is known for its exceptional wear. Some applications have rough or grouted floors, so the softer GUM material can offer superior drying as it better seals over the irregularities. For applications with oil, hydraulic fluid, fuels or citrus cleaners, the URETHANE can offer better resistance to the harsh chemicals when often swell the GUM or LINATEX material.
Squeegee Blade Change Linatex to Urethane
Squeegee blade material change Linatex to Urethane permits the scrubber owner to go with another squeegee blade material other than our standard Linatex, which is known for its exceptional wear.
